The Details:
I co-founded Voodesigns LLC in 2018 to start selling Enamel Pins, Patches, and other pop-art wearable accessories. As the creative half of the brand, I designed and developed all visual assets ranging from products to packaging, print advertising and social media posts. I’ve included samples of work produced in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, product photography and advertising videos.
While I have recently left the brand over creative differences, the brand and I are still on good terms and I still provide freelance design support for the company as needed.
Developed over the course of 2020-21 the the Sk8 Chex Rebrand design theme was part of our return to public events in the Fall/Winter 21 Vendor/Convention season.
The theme clearly leans heavily on a SoCal Skate Punk aesthetic including a “ruder” reimagining of the VooDude Mascot, and a shameless riff on the classic Vans Checkerboard theme.

The goal with this redesign of the VooDude, the Voodesigns mascot, was to channel classic 90s and 2000s Skateboard Company characters. I did this by giving him a sly smirk and a bit more attitude, and an open jacket with no shirt underneath.
