The Details:
I’ve been working with Adobe Illustrator since the launch of the first edition of Adobe Creative Suite in 2003. AI is the software I use most frequently, I functionally think in vector graphics at this point. While I can produce a variety of styles when working in the Vector medium, my natural tendency is towards the Superflat, in particular taking a large amount of inspiration from Art Deco Travel Posters and vintage Disneyland Attraction Posters.
In 2020 I began to stream live on Twitch.TV with a Daily “Vectober” challenge where I produced one smaller vector project a day for the entire month of October. I’ve since revisited the concept with larger scale projects in 2021 and continue to produce new works almost weekly.
